"Vanity, Pride and the Gatekeeper"

Telling the truth is not popular in the modern church and it isn't easy. I guess it never was. It wasn't easy when Jesus told the truth when he walked the earth and he was murdered by the religious leaders and people for telling it. So you can imagine, if it was hard for Jesus, (who was a God) it's especially hard for me. (a sinner)
Of all the articles and pages on my website, the only two that I receive negative mail from, are "The Truth about Tithing" and "Prophet or Prophetess". The reason for this is, people do not want to accept the truth because the truths written on these pages, take their salvation out of their control and out of their hands and places it in the hands of Jesus Christ where it belongs.
People don't like not being in control. It upsets them because, they finally found the magic formula. The thing or things "they" can do to guarantee there entrance through the gates of heaven. The truths on these pages totally destroy this for them. It takes away their control. What they don't realize is, they never had control to begin with.
When you finally walk through the gates of heaven, it will only be because Jesus said that "you are with him". That's it! Tithing and good deeds will not get you put on the guest list. You might argue with the gatekeeper, saying: "but "I" tithed and "I" did this or that. The gatekeeper may very well tell you - "Sorry, you are just not on the list".
The gatekeeper won't be interested in hearing anything you have to say that starts with "I". Instead, he will hear you when you say: "but Jesus did this or that so that I might enter".
