I would say that this is yet another misquoted scripture, but it's not even found in scripture. Does God love us? Sure! But it is rarely without conditions. If you have believed that God loves you unconditionally, that may be the reason you haven't been getting answers to your prayers.

The mere fact that you have a choice to make, proves that there are conditions. If there were no conditions, you would not have to make a choice. Don't get me wrong, he loves us to an incredible degree.

So much so, that, put in human terms, you could say he has bent over backwards for us. First he gave us laws. We didn't quite measure up or do so well with the laws, so God said to himself, I'll make this so easy for them that they will need someone to help them to get it wrong! (a phrase I borrowed from Andrew Wommack)

I'll cover their debt to such a degree that it will always be covered. I'll put all of their sins, sicknesses and shortcomings on my son. He will pay for everything they might have coming to them and ever will. All they have to do is accept him! (condition)

This is comparable to you owing your credit card company $10,000.00 and they are ready to forclose on your house, then some rich person (who loves you) pays your credit card company 10 million dollars! They say: This will cover their 10 thousand dollar debt and anything else they might acquire in the future.

The only condition is, they have to accept (admit) that I paid it for them. (Boy, God drives a hard bargain huh?) Have you slipped away from God? He is always ready to take you back! He really "is" awesome.

Isaiah 49:15 "Can a woman forget her nursing child And have no compassion on the son of her womb? Even these may forget, but I will not forget you.
Isaiah 49:16 "Behold, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; Your walls are continually before Me. (subststute the word "walls" with "safety").

Think about it! Just how powerful is that? Have you ever had something so important to remember and didn't have a piece of paper, then written it on your hand or arm? (we all have) God said: "He has inscribed "you" on the palms of his hands!

As Andrew Wommack says: "It's so simple, you'd need someone to help you to mess it up". Unfortunately, the world offers allot of help. Keep seeking the truth! I don't have all of the truth, but I offer much of it on the Power of Faith Ministries website.
