Here Come The Judge

I get mail from people all the time who are facing an impending court date. It seems like at one time or another just about everyone gets pulled into court for one reason or another, whether it's a simple traffic violation, or something much more serious.
At best, it's frightening and depressing. Especially for those who are facing possible prison sentences. The only ones who win are the attorney's. It appears that in this day and age, "Justice is for the Rich". (especially in America)
I've found that to be "Very" true! I've found something else to be very true as well. When you really get to know God, and he is on your side, even the rich attorney's with even richer clients can't beat you.
Isaiah 40:23 - He it is who reduces rulers to nothing, Who makes the judges of the earth meaningless.
I hear from people who say: "I prayed and asked and I didn't get anything". The problem is, with most of these folks, their conception of God is one of "someone you just ask for free stuff!" or "when an emergency pops up, I prayed, I did everything right , . . still Nothing!"
There is no substitute for getting to know someone. There is no such thing as "doing everything right with God". Just ask David or Paul or any of the disciples or apostles.
Knowing God personally and learning to love him, covers up a multitude of wrong doing. God is not this big accountant with a pad and pencil, marking off a check list before he will bless or protect you.
If this sounds wrong, you were taught wrong! (sorry) God is awesome. I know! (been there/done that)
