"Who do you think you are?"

Sure, you may have accepted Jesus Christ as your saviour and even acknowledged that he was/is the only son of God himself and that he died on the cross for you, but lets face it! You smoke cigarettes, you've used foul language, you've drank beer or hard liquor, (wine would be bad enough) and you've lied on occassion.
You might say: "but everyone lies", and you might be real close to the truth, however, "That's no excuse!" You do these things, then have the nerve to say: "I try". You further have the nerve to say "I try" yet you say mean things to your spouse and other people, you gossip and talk behind other peoples back and you're jealous.
We are supposed to emulate Jesus Christ, but "you" are far from it! If no one else will, I will be bold enough to tell you just exactly who you are! And I'm not going to sugar coat it!
"You", are a child of the King! You are a joint heir with Jesus Christ, the only begotten son of almighty God. Also, you are loved by him. (even if you're not that bad)
Acts 2:21 - 'AND IT SHALL BE THAT EVERYONE WHO CALLS ON THE NAME OF THE LORD WILL BE SAVED.'
Most traditional Christians have a real hard time with this! Allot of them refuse to accept the fact that when they finally make it to heaven by their "good works", that they may end up living next door to "you".
If you want to know why they feel this way, read Matthew 20:1 through 16 in the new testament.
Don't get me wrong. This is not a free ticket to do anything you want and justify going to heaven, this applies to people who love God, and try to please him. I will be honest with you though.
You may be saved and have a ticket to heaven, but if you want your life here on earth to go a little more blessed, (trouble free, protected etc...) Take the pleasing God part "real" serious!
How do you please God? It starts right in your heart. The heart doesn't lie and you can't fool God.
See you there, neighbor! ![]()
