GASP! But, you say: "surely you are wrong!" Just look at the millions of people being saved on television "every day". Surely heaven will be crowded and overflowing with souls.

Did you know that Jesus was asked this specific question? His answer was "very" clear.

Luke 13:23 - And someone said to Him, "Lord, are there just a few who are being saved?" And He said to them,
Luke 13:24 - "Strive to enter through the narrow door; for many, I tell you, will seek to enter and will not be able.

Also, Jesus said:

Matthew 7:13 - "Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it.
Matthew 7:14 - "For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it.

So, how can this be? You've seen with your own eyes, millions of people being saved every day. When these millions flood the gates of heaven, can we expect Jesus to say: "Oh, I was just kidding about the narrow gate thing?" (better think about it)

Do you attend Church at least once a week? Do you faithfully pay your tithes? Have you denied yourself alcohol? Did you quit smoking, or never smoked? I hate to tell you, but if you answered "yes" to all the questions above, you may not be one of the few who find it! (heaven) And I'll tell you why.

All you've done is lived your life by a check list of things to do, to get your "ticket to heaven". Probably given to you by some preacher who is not going to be one of the few either.

You can offer to pray for me, send me hate mail or say "Yo, you need more Jesus dude!" but, it will "not" change the fact that Jesus himself said, only a few will find it! So, save your hate mail. Instead, give this some serious thought.

The population of the world is what? 6 billion people? (feel free to correct me if I'm wrong) So we need to ask, how many is a few?

According to the Jehovah witneses's it is 144,000. Truly this would represent "a few", but it will be more than that! (a very false doctrine) The one hundred and forty four thousand, refers only to the tribe of Israel.

Revelation 7:4 - And I heard the number of those who were sealed, one hundred and forty-four thousand sealed from every tribe of the sons of Israel.

So we can assume "more" than 144,000, because it is not only the Jews or the tribe of Israel that will be saved.

Acts 28:28 - "Therefore let it be known to you that this salvation of God has been sent to the Gentiles; they will also listen."

If you want to be one of the few, it's not really that hard. Very few choose the narrow gate because, they'd rather feel like they earned their way! (attend church, tithe, no drinking, no somoking and whatever else makes "other people" happy)

God only looks at your heart! Your heart can't lie! Your heart is an open book to God and you can't hide it. I can't say for sure, but if you are being praised by your congregation, your pastor and everyone else, just maybe you are entering through the broad gate with them.

Am I wrong? Is this worth looking into? Or are you enjoying the prestige too much. Think about it!
