Imagine for a moment. If you could talk face to face with God, for just 10 minutes, (for real) what would you say to him? What would you ask him? and what would you explain to him? Think about it!
Really! Pretend for a minute (humor me) that Saint Peter pulled your name out of the hat. Out of 6 Billion people entered into heaven's spiritual lottery, he pulled "your" name! "YOU WON!"
This means you get to talk one on one, face to face with the creator of the universe. You get to ask anything you want, explain anything you want or tell him anything you want! (granted, you have to wear the "really" thick sun glasses so you won't go blind) But, For ten minutes, "You have God's ear"
You can spend the whole ten minutes talking to God and asking him anything, but God can take all the time he wants answering you. What would you say? What is most important to you? What do you need more than anything else?
Think about this! Rehearse it. Remember you only have ten minutes. Their going to call your name next! Their knocking on your dressing room door yelling "You're on in 10 minutes!" Are you ready? Good!
That is "exactly" how you should pray tonight! Forget everything you've been taught since you were 4 years old. Skip the holy impressive sounding words (they only impress us humans) Forget the thee's and thou's and just talk to him! (he likes that)
Let me tell you what he "is" impressed with. He's impressed with the fact that today, he is real to you. Even though he didn't say a word back, you had a one on one conversation with him. But why didn't he audibly talk back?
Because, to answer you directly, would be to nullify your faith. Let's face it. If God appeared before you, or answered you directly, you would no longer be acting on faith, because you would know. God is very impressed with faith. (Read Matthew 8:5 thru 10)
Do you really want God's ear? You already have it! When you talk to God, consider it "real" and "Serious", God does. If you want to see amazing things start to happen in your life, consider him "real" when you are talking to him.
How do you make God "real" to you? Simple, by talking to him. (allot) Start now.
