"Greed is Alive and Well at Walmart"

By now I'm sure you've all heard about the Walmart employee who was trampled to death on "Black Friday". Jdimytai Damour, 34 years old, a temporary worker was killed by the oncoming rampage of greed as shoppers fought to get to electronics to save a few bucks on a video game or such.
As if this were not bad enough, I understand that Walmart is being sued for this mishap. Well, speaking of greed, lawyers are now getting involved. This amazes me! Think about it! First, people break down the doors of an establishment that is "not" yet open for business. Second, a man is killed in the process.
Didn't this used to be called breaking and entering? Not to mention "Murder!" I'm not a big fan of huge corporations, but lets call a spade a spade. Walmart is guilty of nothing short of having their store broken into and having their property damaged.
At what point exactly, did we stop holding people accountable for their actions? I think it's a little absurd to punish Walmart for not putting a vault door or bars on the entrance of their store, on the off chance that a crowd of 2000+ people would break it down and kill someone. Don't you?
I say, hold accountable the people who should be held accountable. Surely there must have been a security tape of this incident. Also, when someone buys something from most any store, the time and date of the purchase is stamped on their reciept.
Surely, a good portion of these people used a credit card to purchase the items they killed this man to get! I don't believe it would be too hard to track down the greedy offenders. Make an example of them by holding them accountable, then this incident will not be repeated next week, next month or next year!
All I can say to the people responsible is: Tell your children "Merry Christmas" I sold my soul to save a few bucks to buy you this christmas present. Enjoy sweetie!
Maybe it's time to remember what this holiday is all about. And for the younger generation, maybe it's time to "learn" what this holiday is all about.
