Google, Yahoo and MSN

This is the search engine I have found to be the best, with the most relevent results. No, not just because they have a colorful logo, but because their search results are "truly" more relevent. (I'll explain further on)
The Yahoo search engine came in a "VERY" close second! The results you get are "truly" relevent and the Yahoo spider, (slurp) is the hardest working spider on the internet.
There are what are commonly known as the three "Big" search engines. Or three main search engines. They are: Google, Yahoo and MSN. However, in my humble opinion, there are really only two "Big" search engines.
If you own a website, there is a thing you can do to see who is linking to you on these search engines. Go to any of the three and type "link:www.yourwebsite.com" and you will get the results.
I did this on Google, and received very relevent results back. It showed all the different sites that link to mine. Same with Yahoo. All went very well. However, when I typed this same command into the MSN search or "live search", what I received back was about 100 pornography sites that were supposedly linked to my site.
Duh... I don't think so! Power of Faith is an online Christian ministry. Those that know me, know that I'm not stiff necked and don't try to be holier than thou, or lord it over the sinners, because I am one.
However, when someone searching for my ministry types "Mary" looking for information about the mother of Jesus, I don't want them getting some other "Mary" flashing her private parts at them on the screen. That's "not" what Power of Faith is about!
Granted, this could be a spamming attack by people who hate this ministry, or just hate God, but you have to give credit to Yahoo and Google for catching it and not listing those offensive results. They are simply better services with more superior programing.
A year ago, MSN had one of the better search engines. At that time they were definately one of the big three. At some point since then, because of their obsession to beat Google, they have fallen out of the race completely.![]()
