"Sock Obama"

Link: http://pofm.org

Sock Monkey This "Sock Obama" toy started out as a T-Shirt. According to the inventor, it was fashioned after "Curious George" and was meant to be Lovable, and something that Obama fans could hold close to their heart.

As to weather this was intended as a racial slur, I don't know, and don't really care. "That's Politics". Granted, if this was actually intended as an insult, I would agree that it is pretty low. However, these things commonly happen all the time.

I believe I can be compared to the majority of americans when I say that, until it was presented in this fashion by the media, I only considered it to be "cute". (not offensive)

Let me share with you, some images that "no one" seemed to object to, but are equally (if not more) offensive.

These two portray George Bush in a very "Dehumanizing way". Same as the "sock Obama" was said to be.

Or these images of the president portrayed as "Stupid" in a very insulting way.

Finally, what the heck is this? Is this supposed to be a "Death Wish" or a "Death Threat?"

What is this supposed to mean?

If equality doesn't apply to everyone, then "no one" is equal! Personally, I think Obama blew it "Big Time". When Andrew Jackson's opponent referred to him as "Jack Ass" instead of "Jackson", Jackson ran with it and made the "Jack Ass" his political symbol. (It still sticks today)

If Obama had run with this and made light of the similarities, big ears and all. he would have clinched the presidency! Barrack! The extreme left wing is "not" doing you any favors! (Wise up!) You missed a historical moment.

Teddy Bear
Does anyone know where the "Teddy Bear" originated from? It was named after Theodore "Teddy" Roosevelt There was hardly a child in America, male or female, black or white, that didn't have a "Teddy Bear" that they loved. (dehumanizing?)

The extreme left media and bloggers are getting more like "Barney Fife" every day. (Don Knotts - deputy on Andy of Mayberry) Andy only allowed Barney to have "one" bullet, and keep it in his shirt pocket, or he'd hurt himself.

By yelling "discrimination" and "dehumanization" about this sock monkey, they killed the goose that lays the golden eggs and shot themselves in the foot, all with one shot. For Obama to embrace this racial nonsense is to display a lack of wisdom. We need someone sharper than that in the Oval Office.

The "Sock Obama", fashioned after Curious George, could have possibly been the "new" symbol for the democratic party! Where's the "change" we are always hearing about?

"Tim Russert died age 58"

Sadly, Tim Russert, the host of "Meet the Press" died today. Although I believe this was an NBC program, I heard nothing but praise about him on Fox News. Actually, I don't believe I've ever heard such unanimous praise and respect for any member of the media before.

I watched both presidential candidates praise him. I heard the prtesident himself praise him. I watched every other journalist that came on praise him and express sincere respect for him. Not to mention congressmen, senators, etc...

What I heard over and over again was that he was unbiased, asked tough questions and didn't promote his own (or others) agenda. Hmmmm can the far left or the far right learn a lesson from this if they want to be taken seriously?

What do you think? I think, yes they can, but I doubt they will.

"Fat People Not Wanted!"

Link: http://www.powerofaith.com

Please forgive me but, this ridiculus discrimination against fat people has gone on just about two inches past what my sinse of humor allows. Who the heck do these people think they are to form an organization that would take away rights from any American simply based on how much they weigh?

Who's next? Is it you? Think about it. If we are going to make someone pay more by making them step on a scale before they can get on an airplane, is the next step to charge the handicapped for the weight of their wheelchair?

What about the oxygen tank that the elderly person has to have to remain alive? Or even the slightly crippled person who has one of those heavy metal braces on their leg? Doesn't this "all" count as weight and supposedly cost more to transport these people?

I'm sorry but, this is all a sad attempt from people seeking their "ten minutes of fame" on TV. All I can say is "Get a Life". Go do something worthwhile, if you want to be recgonized.

If we are to subscribe to this orginazations point of view, Stop using tredmills and other electronic exercise machines because it wastes energy. Adopt anorexia as the new way of life! (this will cure the world food shortage)

Lets stop feeding your pets! After all, they eat better than most people in the third world countries. Better to let them die, than to feel guilty and add to the world food shortage. Think about "that" folks! Let's all stop buying pet food and see what that does to the economy! (after all, we don't want to feel guilty)

In my opinion, if you're "Fat", theres just more there to love! Personally, I'm not fat! Sure, like most of us I could stand to shed a pound or two, but that will damn well be "my" decision! Not some self appointed, self glorifying orginazation that wants to deny my constitutional rights.

In closing, all I can say is, the woman they chose to represent their "obese hating" organization on TV may be thin, but why didn't they pick someone attractive? Should we discriminate against "ugly" next?

I can promise you, if you subscribe to this hateful discrimination against fat people, "You are Next!"

God Bless You

"Obesity Haters and Hitler"

Link: http://pofm.org

Again to my horror, I saw this obnoxious woman on TV news, slamming obese people. The latest is, airlines want to make people step on a scale and start charging them according to their weight. Sure on the surface it sounds logical, but think about it!

When we start discriminating against people for any reason, this is no longer a democracy. Personally, I am not "fat". This is not personal with me. It is speaking out against fascism. Sound silly? Not really.

In hitlers regime, those who were considered as "not" contributing in any way were either punished or put to death. The retarded, and those with mental illness were extinguished.

Exactly where do we draw the line? Exactly what standards are we shooting for, and then punish the rest? Little does this woman on TV realize, that it may soon after, be punishable to be ugly! (she's no Jessica Alba) Matter of fact, if there were any appeal there at all, it is well hidden by the "Dr. Octipus" glasses that she wears. (ever see Spider man?)

Better pay attention folks! This first started with people condemning people who smoke cigarettes. Now it has graduated to "fat people". Next it may resemble Hitlers Regime and condemn anyone who does "not" have Blonde hair and blue eyes, and considered the perfect race.

If you support these ridiculus opinions, you will eventually be next! Unless of course you are perfect with blond hair and blue eyes, and weigh 110 pounds if you are a female and 145 if you are a male.

God help us!

"Political Backfire!"

Link: http://pofm.org

In the previous elections, religion was a taboo subject. However, the politicians noticed it was important to a great deal of americans, so they all jumped on the bandwagon. Every politician put on their "Sunday, go to meetin clothes" and made their religion a part of their campaign.

This backfired horribly for each and every one of them. But the king of religious backfire is, hands down, Barrack Obama. Sitting in the Church pews benefitted him greatly until his pastor and close friend made national headlines with his anti american statements and seemingly racist views.

If the so called reverend Wright's views didn't seem racist to you, not to fear. A new champion has stepped forward and made it all quite clear. His name is Rev. Michael Pfleger. Pfleger, who claims to be of the Catholic denomination, but doesn't seem live or teach their doctrine, was very clear in his racist comments against Hillary Clinton.

In his sermon (sermon?) that happened to take place from the very same pulpit as the anti american Rev. Wright's sermon(?) did, Rev. Pfleger's comments were chalked full of racist statements designed to further separate the black and white communities. (how very sad - it worked!)

Obama's Church and mentors are truly the "gift that keeps on giving". Although I truly believe that Obama simply used this church organization to further his political gain, and they used him for the same purpose, to fill theirs, "He's married to them now".

I believe it's impossibe that Mr Obama and his family sat in those Church pews for "20 years" and never once heard this kind of venom spewed out.

When it comes to religion, Hillary seems to be the only smart one of the bunch. She's stated only enough to appease the public, but not enough to get personally targeted over.

Who would have thought in the year 2008, that it would be a "black Church" that claims Jesus Christ as their savior, would be responsible for promoting the most racial separation in america, seen in decades.

It's a very sad day for America! :(
