"Barrack Obama Unites the Nation"
Link: http://pofm.org
That is the claim of the Obama campaign. My first thought was wow, that's pretty cool! This guy came out of nowhere and is uniting everyone from all walks of life. What a gift!
Then the realization set in, that he hasn't yet even united his own party. He is still in a near dead heat with Hillary Clinton, within his own democratic party.
I must admit, to hear Barrack Obama speak is to like him! It's just that afterward, I tend to ask myself "What did he say?" and almost every time, I can't recall any real substance.
It's kind of like listening to Issiac Hayes, especially for the ladies. When his deep resonating voice says: "I LOVE YOU BABY", women go home and take it out on their husbands! (to their delight) However, when these same ladies read Issiac's words on paper or hear someone else say it, it just doesn't have the same effect. (it sounds just like every other come on)
I'm not knocking Obama. I not only like him, I "want" to like him. I just don't know what he is about. He has had plenty of time to let us know what he is about, but I haven't seen it yet. (and I've been looking)
Does anyone know this mans views or plans for america? Hillary's health care plan scares the hell out of me, but at least she has one. If you can enlighten me, I'd love to be enlightened! As I said, I want to like him.
If we vote for someone based simply on their gender or skin color, America is in sad shape. I am currently undecided, but I can tell you. If we had someone like Englands "Margaret Thatcher" running, I would not be undecided.
