Is there a God? Is there proof that God exists? If your answer is no, then many
Christians could learn allot from you. You see, you are what every
Christian strives to be. A "Faith Filled Believer". It is by faith that a
Christian is supposed to live their life, and it takes more faith to believe as
you do, that God doesn't exist, than to believe that he does.
Before you scoff at that statement, think about
it for a moment. As opposed to God creating the earth and everything on it, you
believe in a "Big Bang" theory. That gases and different things came together
and created this huge explosion that led to everything we now know?
At about this time, someone usually says: "Ok, who
created God?" I usually reply: "Let's leave God out of this, you don't believe
in God, remember?" Then I ask: "Ok, who created the gases that caused the great
explosion?" Where did they come from? (you believe in those)
Though the theory of evolution has gained allot
of popularity, I must remind you that the person who gave birth to this theory
(Darwin) himself said that it is only a theory. (check your history books)
It takes great faith to believe in the theory of
evolution, since there is no real or scientific proof
whatsoever, that any species on earth has ever changed from one species into
another species. You can search, but the proof doesn't exist.
The missing link is exactly what it says it is!
"Missing!" Far be it for me to shake anyone's faith, but let me give you
something to think about. (if you will) What do you think are the odds of gasses
(forget about who created the gasses for a moment) coming together randomly,
then causing an explosion.
Which in turn creates this planet, that orbits
around the sun with a stunning mathematical precision that is able to sustain
life as we know it. Not to mention the moon and other celestial bodies that move
with an equally mathematical precision, that if you altered any one of these
from their course, it could cause the extinction of every living thing on earth.
A very delicate balance.
Before I ask you again, what are the odds of
that, lets go even farther. Now with all the planets in place in a very precise
manor, what are the odds that the same random explosion caused a life to form?
Any life! Lets just pick one. How about "a cow?"
You have to admit, that takes allot of faith. But
not only did a cow somehow come into being, the real miracle is, what sex was it
and how did it reproduce? (reproduction, there's another miracle) Obviously, the
same explosion randomly created a second cow of the opposite sex for it to mate
with.
But the "real Miracle" is, this planet is not
inhabited by just cows! There are thousands if not millions of randomly formed
species (humans, animals, fish, insects etc..) on the earth, according to this
particular
belief.
I'm sure you would argue that everything evolved
from some lower form of life, caused by an explosion, caused by gasses that
shouldn't have existed anyway. (Darwin again) But I have to say again,
show me some scientific proof that any life form on earth has at any time,
changed from one species to another.
The big question here is: "If this all started
from an amoeba or something, why is there nothing in between right now? If we do
in fact evolve, where is everything in between? After all, amoebas still exist
today don't they? I mean, if we still have the beginning species and the end
species, (us) where is everything in between? It should still be living in a
transitional state.
If you truly believe that God does not exist,
then you have the greatest faith I have ever seen. You need to find a way to
market that and sell it to Christians. After all, if they will send their hard
earned cash to some of the ridicules TV ministries, "you" would get rich beyond
your dreams.
Don't get me wrong. The humongous Christian
movement that you see on television and in most of your local churches is not at
all what Jesus intended for his church to be. They are not trying to convert you
to be more Christ like, but more like "them". Frankly, I can see why people
would run away from that! And God.
THE MAGIC ATOM
I was watching
the science channel and the theme was the "Creation of the Universe". Before I
relay what was said, let me point out that this information was originally
presented by the greatest scientific minds on earth and in history.
Let me also point out that this information was
not presented as a theory, but stated as "Matter of Fact" and "The way it is".
Brace yourselves, here goes:
According to this documentary on the science
channel, Billions of years ago, (they gave an exact amount) an Atom appeared
from nothing! (you heard me correctly) This atom then either exploded or expanded Two
Billion, Billion times to the size of a softball. The rest is the same or
similar to everything that is written above.
At this point I was simply staring blankly at the
television while saying: "duh . .
What???" (as I hold up a finger) Does this bare a striking
similarity to the children's story "The emperor has no clothes"?
Sorry, that's it! An atom appeared from nothing
and everything you see today was the result. Instead of teaching "intelligent
Design" in the public schools, "this" is what it has been replaced with. (The
Magic Atom) Because of this so called "fact", our children are not allowed to
pray or read their bible in the public school system?
If some of the most intelligent minds in history
don't believe in "intelligent design", what do we call this discovery?
"Un-intelligent design"? It would seem to fit since there were no facts used to
promote their discovery.
Wake up people! Your rights are being stripped
from you every day, by allot of people who seem to be just making up their own
facts as they go along, and convincing others to go along with what they invent.
Fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, not
fear of your college professor.
WHY YOU BELIEVE
WHAT YOU BELIEVE
Have you ever for a moment, stopped and asked yourself why you believe as you
do? I know many young people that will passionately argue that there is no God.
When I ask: "where did you get your information?", it almost always boils down
to "from a teacher in the public school system". (your tax dollars at work!)
So, with my awesome computer like brain, I can't
help but wonder to myself, how this teacher, who is only separated from the
student by another year or two of public school and a couple years of college,
is privileged to the secrets of the universe. (Wow)
So I asked myself, where did the teacher get this
awesome information? From their professors at college of course. Here's the
funny part! If you go to a professor of Literature at any college and ask him a
question about physics, he will tell you: "I'm not really qualified to answer
your question. You need to talk to the Physics professor down the hall.
Now ask the same professor a question about God.
Instead of telling you that he is not qualified, he'll vigorously tell you just
how it is, then probably passionately argue his point if you don't agree with
him.
The school system does not reward free and
independent thinkers. I encourage young people to be independent. Think for
yourself. Use the free will that God gave to you. Don't just mindlessly repeat
the statements and questions that have been programmed into you by some teacher
that is only slightly more qualified than you are.
Ask your own questions and seek the "honest"
truth, not just what you've been programmed to believe. Ask why you believe the
way you do, then put it to the test.
Does God exist? Show me a better theory and I
will consider it. Also, find out what the true message of Jesus Christ is before
you condemn it. You can find that here at Power of Faith Ministries.
The bottom line is, If you believe in those odds,
and if you believe those odds are reasonable, probable or possible, stay away
from Las Vegas! Whatever you do.
