If you
want to please God, You need faith. If you want God to
answer your prayers, receive a miracle, healing,
protection from enemies or even a blessing, God does
reward those who seek him! - - Have Faith!
Hebrews
11:6
And without faith it is impossible to please Him,
for he who comes to God must believe that He is and
that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him.
What is Faith?
Hebrews 11:1
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the
evidence of things not seen.
All
things are possible, healing, being healed, miracles,
protection from your enemies, saving your marriage. "All
things". Possible for who? - "YOU" Yes you. But first,
you have to believe, and unless God has appeared to you
in the flesh, your going to need something called
"faith".
There
is an old story about the guy with the long pole,
getting ready to walk on a barrel across a tight rope,
Fifty stories high from one building to another. He
turns to one of the spectators and asks, do you believe
I can do this? The spectator replied: "Yes, I do!" The
man then said "Good! Get in the barrel!" That's Faith!
Here,
I hope to point you in the right direction and show you,
How to get a miracle, How to be healed, How to save your
marriage, overcome your enemies, increase your faith and
finally, show you where the barrel is and how to get in.
So
lets get serious, put on your old sweat suit with the
holes in it, crack about 5 or 6 raw eggs in a glass and
chug them down, then put on the "Rocky" theme music.
It's time to re-train your mind!
How do I get
Faith? How do I have faith in someone I can't even see
or touch?
Romans 10:17
So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the
word of Christ.
Read
about him! Have you ever had a pen Pal in Russia or
China or some other great distance away? After
corresponding for a period of time, you really get to
know that person just by reading their letters. You know
what they like, what they don't like, what you have in
common etc..
Even
though you cannot see or touch this person, you may
really like them if not love them! It's possible
you could even feel heartbroken when you receive the
news that one of their children or parents passed away.
Marriages have happened through this kind of
correspondence, not to mention the internet! It is very
much the same way with with getting to know Jesus
Christ. Read his spoken word!
If you
want to read what Jesus said directly, in his own words,
Look in the first 4 books of the new Testament, Matthew,
Mark, Luke & John. In allot of Bibles you will find the
words spoken by Jesus in
"Red Letters", just
like on this website. In the rest of the New Testament
you will find Jesus quoted often.
Think
about this. How much better would you know this pen pal,
if you could walk into any Christian church every Sunday
and have a person on the podium tell about them and
explain them. Seeing and touching isn't everything.
If
you really want to know how to get a miracle, Faith is
one of the key ingredients.
Don't feel
like you have enough Faith?
God has
already given you faith! Start using it!
Romans 12:3
For through
the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to
think more highly of himself than he ought to think; but
to think so as to have sound judgment, as
God has allotted
to each a measure of
faith.
Basically, when "you" were born, you were given
the same amount of muscles as Arnold Schwarzenegger when
"he" was born. (yes, even you ladies) Depending
upon how often you exercised those muscles and your
diet, would depend on how muscular you would become.
Faith
is exactly like that! Once again,
Romans 10:17
So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the
word of Christ.
Read
the word of Christ. If you have a KJV (King James
Version) Bible and can't understand it through all the
"thou arts" and thee's and thou's, Don't feel like the
Lone Ranger! Scholars feel at home reading the KJV, Not
us ordinary simple folks!
Get a
bible you can read. Pick up a NIV (New
International version) or a "Good News Bible".
(recommended) The quotes on this page are from the NASB
(New American Standard Bible) Ask most Churches for a
Bible in plain English and they will probably give you
one for free. THEN READ IT!
If you
don't already attend a faith based, spirit filled
church, find one and attend once or twice a week.
Hearing the word of God is called "being fed",
and I'm sure even Arnold Schwarzenegger would tell you,
your diet is important!
